This cross screen attachments have a linear grating on which points of light surrounded by radiant stars are produced by diffraction. These create attractive effects when the points of light have dark surroundings. The radiant stars are mostly the same color as the light source, but can also have faint spectral colors. The radiant direction is at right angles to the direction of the lines in each case. Rotatable mounts enable the best possible alignment in the viewfinder or on the camera screen.
